Two of Australia’s teenage lawn bowls stars are donning the green and gold for the first time at the 2019 Trans Tasman Test Series.
Both Queensland representatives, Kira Bourke, 17 and Jake Rynne, 15 were selected to join the Australian Development squad after stellar performances at last month’s Australian Under-18 Championships. Impressing selectors, Bourke won her third straight Girls singles gold, while Rynne scored silver in both the singles and pairs.
Both are a part of the Emerging Jackaroos squad and will be joining the likes of Ellen Ryan and Ben Twist, playing against New Zealand’s Blackjacks.
The three day Test kicks off on November, 25 on the Gold Coast, Queensland with and will also feature an Over-60’s side for the first time.
